MC Shoes is a capsule collection presented by Marco, designer and pattern maker selected among the Emerging Designers at MICAM. Each sneaker is crafted from calf leather, entirely made in Italy with a focus on comfort and durability. The design stands out for its versatility: it can be worn as both a sneaker or a sabot, with a minimal style suited for cities like Milan, New York, or Paris. Available in both laceless and laced versions.
The project embraces international collaborations, such as the partnership with a Japanese brand: the shoes are cut in Italy and then sent to Japan for signature “samurai” embroidery. This approach combines sustainability with a connection between cultures.
Beyond fashion, Marco supports social projects in Africa, helping to establish a fashion school in Bangui with “Amici per il Centrafrica” and the Secoli Institute. Every pair includes a special pocket, symbolizing support for the women involved in these initiatives.
MC Shoes is already available in Japan, Singapore, Italy, and France, and sees MICAM as an opportunity to expand the reach of Made in Italy and share its unique vision.
