Nuosmiq is a footwear brand founded and designed by Yi Sun. With a background in custom design from Korea and ten years of experience as a footwear designer, Yi Sun launched Nuosmiq in 2021, driven by a passion for sustainability and artisan skills.
Nuosmiq focuses on sustainable design and genderless fashion: all shoes are offered from size 35 to 44, removing all gender boundaries. The brand is committed to giving new life to discarded materials, making resource circulation a central value.
Each Nuosmiq collection is built around a story inspired by real life. Last season, Yi Sun created a custom heel using recycled plastic from the city. The new SS26 collection is dedicated to global disaster situations—forest fires, floods, and accidents—and the rescuers who respond to them. For this collection, the main material is recycled firefighter suits: the heels feature fibers from these suits, and uppers use recycled aramid.
