O.T.A. – On The Asphalt is a French brand of sustainable and eco-friendly unisex sneakers. The soles of their innovative sneakers are made from recycled tires that have already traveled around the world. This first life on asphalt makes each pair of shoes unique. Every time O.T.A. produces 3 pairs of sneakers, the equivalent of one tire will be recycled.
The brand was born after two years of research, development and testing to develop our recycled tire sole. Many prototypes were created. At O.T.A., they have carefully selected a workshop in Portugal, in the Guimarães region, to work closely together in production. High production standards and the use of noble materials such as Italian leather guarantee the O.T.A. sneakers an optimal manufacturing quality.
Behind this European initiative, the designer wanted to propose an ethical sneaker, which highlights the human dimension behind every pair of shoes.
